OPEN PRIVACY LEDGER

What stays
on the desk?

Policy for Steepmark 1.0.0 · effective September 11, 2026.

01

Scope and version

This policy covers Steepmark for Android, package app.steepmark.teadesk, version 1.0.0 (1), and the two static pages supplied with that release. It does not govern an app store, operating-system service, separately opened browser page, or a later product version with changed behavior.

02

Organization and release identity

The publisher profile supplied for this release names Idaho Lions FC Foundation at 11304 Tamsworth Dr, Caldwell, Idaho 83605-8056. Steepmark remains an original tea-session tool associated with that release profile. This policy does not claim that the app is an official organization program, team service, endorsement, mission statement, or record of participants and results.

03

Data the app can store

The app processes the leaf family and vessel you choose, water volume, leaf amount, temperature note, timer stage and remaining time, sensory descriptors, an optional cup note, saved sessions, variant relationship, and reduced-motion preference. These values support the workbench features you see.

Steepmark does not ask for a name, email address, account, payment detail, precise location, contact list, photo, microphone recording, or health record.

04

User-created notes and saved work

A cup note and selected sensory words are content you choose to create. Pressing a session saves those details with the tea variables and, for a variation, a local parent relationship. Steepmark does not inspect the note for identity or upload it to a publisher.

05

App-private storage

Your selections, draft note, timer state, preferences, pressings, and relationships are stored in Android private app preferences on the device. Other apps are not given a Steepmark data interface. The build has no publisher-operated account, cloud database, or synchronization service.

06

Permissions and device access

The inspected Android manifest declares no runtime permission. It does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, notification, advertising-ID, health, sensor, or shared-storage access. Those protected device capabilities are therefore unavailable directly to Steepmark in this release.

07

Network behavior

The signed app does not include the Android Internet permission. Tea cards, images, timers, notes, comparisons, and guides do not contact a developer server. Source URLs shown in the Guide are selectable text; Steepmark does not open, fetch, embed, or proxy them itself.

09

Export, sharing, and system services

This release has no in-app export, share, collaboration, contact-picker, upload, or social-posting feature. If you use operating-system screenshot or text-copy tools, you control that separate action and those tools may handle the resulting content independently.

Analytics, advertising, and third-party SDKs

The inspected app does not bundle an analytics SDK, advertising SDK, crash-reporting SDK, social-login SDK, billing SDK, or account SDK. No embedded service receives Steepmark event data, session notes, or saved tea variables in this release.

Retention

Selections, draft notes, timer state, preferences, and saved pressings remain in app-private storage until you clear them, clear the app storage through Android, or uninstall the app. There is no publisher server that applies a separate retention schedule to those records.

12

Deletion, reset, and uninstall

The Clear local desk action asks for confirmation and removes saved pressings, the draft note, selections, preferences, and timer state. Clearing app storage or uninstalling also removes private app data under normal Android behavior. There is no remote account-deletion process.

13

Backup and device transfer

Cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled in the app manifest and data-extraction rules. A reinstall or device move is not a restoration path for Steepmark’s notes, pressings, timer state, or preferences.

Static website request data

The supplied website is static and has no form or account feature. If it is publicly hosted, the chosen host may process ordinary connection information such as IP address, request time, requested path, and browser metadata for delivery, security, or operational logs under the host’s terms.

15

Cookies, browser storage, and tracking

These supplied pages do not set a cookie, write to localStorage, load analytics, embed advertising, or include a tracking pixel. Review the final hosting configuration before listing a public policy URL because infrastructure behavior can differ from the supplied files.

Children and intended audience

Steepmark is designed for a general adult tea-hobby audience and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Hot water can scald; keep hot vessels and drinks away from children and anyone who may not recognize the hazard.

17

Security, limitations, and policy changes

Android app-private storage restricts ordinary access by other apps, but no local design can guarantee protection against a compromised, rooted, unlocked, or physically accessed device. Material changes to permissions, SDKs, storage, networking, hosting, or ownership require a revised policy and effective date.

Privacy contact and user requests

Questions about this policy or privacy requests for this release may be mailed to Idaho Lions FC Foundation, 11304 Tamsworth Dr, Caldwell, ID 83605-8056. Because Steepmark does not receive app records or maintain accounts, local records must be viewed or deleted on the device using the controls described above.
